Job Description
BrightPath Transport LLC is a growing transportation company based in Milwaukee, providing courier delivery, non-emergency medical transportation, and general transportation services.
We currently operate through delivery partners such as Better Trucks and Veho, with additional medical and courier contracts pending approval (including MTM, MedZoomer, Modivcare, and direct local business contracts).
We are seeking experienced, reliable independent contractor drivers who own their own vehicles and are comfortable being paid per route (not hourly).
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Completing assigned courier, medical, or general transportation routes
- Picking up and delivering packages safely and on time
- Communicating professionally with dispatch and clients
- Managing routes independently and efficiently
- Maintaining your vehicle in clean, working condition
Pay Structure (Important – Please Read):
- Pay is per completed route, not hourly
- Typical route pay ranges:
- $45–$65 for shorter routes
- $70–$120+ for longer or priority routes
- Weekly earning potential: $800–$1,500+, depending on route availability, driver availability, and platform volume
As BrightPath adds additional delivery partners and direct contracts, route volume and earning opportunities will increase.
Contractors receive the larger portion of each route payout, with BrightPath retaining a smaller percentage for dispatch, administration, and business operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal vehicle required (SUV, minivan, or cargo van depending on route type)
- Active auto insurance approved for business use
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable data service
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong time management and reliability
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to complete routes independently without supervision
- Availability for scheduled routes once accepted
Preferred (not required):
- Prior experience with courier delivery, medical transport, rideshare, or general transportation
- Familiarity with Milwaukee and surrounding areas
Important Notes:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
- Pay is per route, not hourly
- Drivers must have their own insured vehicle
- This role is not entry-level
