Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and punctual Delivery Drivers to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up goods and packages.
Job Title: Delivery Driver – Local Routes (1099 Independent Contractor)
Company: DirectServ Logistics LLC
Locations: Start at 6am from the warehouse located in Norcross
Pay: Competitive, paid weekly
Schedule: Flexible - work as often or as little as you like, we just need you to be reliable.
Type: 1099 Independent Contractor – use your own insured vehicle
Routes: Local deliveries only – home every day, with routes in and around:
- Henry County: McDonough, Hampton, Ellenwood, Locust Grove, Stockbridge, Rex
Routes are assigned based on the needs of the company and driver performance.
Requirements:
- Own reliable vehicle + current auto insurance
- Valid driver’s license & generally clean driving record
- No more than 1 DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No theft-related offenses on record
- Able to pass a background check
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting, carrying packages)
- Able to use a smartphone for navigation and delivery apps
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
- Clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline-oriented
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload vehicle
- Collect on unpaid orders and shipments
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
