TransForce is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support local operations based in Chatham, MA.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Details
- Schedule: Monday - Saturday, start time 6AM. 8-10 hours per day, averaging 40-50 hours per week.
- Pay: $22 Per Hour + OT, ($250 Quarterly Attendance Bonus), $950 - $1,050 Estimated weekly pay
- Route Type: local
- Freight / Load Type: seafood
- Equipment: 16' reefer box truck
- Handling: light touch - pallet jack
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: Non-CDL
- Experience: 12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: Box truck
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 16' automatic reefer box truck on local routes
- Transport seafood in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including using a pallet jack for deliveries
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including using a pallet jack for deliveries
