Job Description
We are a locally owned logistics company. This position requires loading up packages at a warehouse located near the phoenix/tempe area and primarily delivering in Gilbert/Mesa. Reliable communication, absolute integrity, and use of personal vehicle are core conditions of the delivery role.
Monday - Friday
10 am to completion of deliveries
- Communication: This job is big on communication. Phone must be fully charged prior to shift and have charger readily available as this job requires you to photograph all deliveries.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; prior delivery or driving experience is preferred but not always required
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift heavy cargo, and frequently load and unload packages.
- Skills: Excellent time management, working knowledge of GPS navigation tools, strong spatial awareness, and basic math/record-keeping skills
- Transport: Safely drive or cycle to designated locations, navigating the most time- and fuel-efficient routes.
- Documentation: Verify shipping details, maintain accurate delivery logs, and obtain proof of delivery
- Cargo Handling: Load, unload, and properly secure items, adhering to specific transport conditions
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and handle payments or invoices when required.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle or bicycle inspections and report any maintenance needs to dispatch.
- Background Checks: Required to pass a criminal background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
