We are seeking dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Independent Medical Couriers to service healthcare clients throughout Cumberland, Harnett, and Sampson Counties. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering consistent routes and growth potential for reliable drivers.
Responsibilities
● Pick up and deliver laboratory specimens, medical samples, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare-related materials.
● Maintain proper chain-of-custody procedures and documentation.
● Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
● Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality.
● Communicate professionally with physician offices, clinics, laboratories, and dispatch personnel.
● Perform route inspections and report any delays or issues immediately.
Requirements
● Must be 21 years of age or older.
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
● Reliable vehicle capable of handling daily route demands.
● Current vehicle registration and insurance.
● Smartphone with GPS, email, and photo capability.
● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
● Excellent time management and customer service skills.
● Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Preferred Qualifications
● Previous medical courier, delivery, healthcare, transportation, or logistics experience.
● Familiarity with Cumberland, Harnett, and Sampson County roadways.
● Experience working independently and managing scheduled routes.
● Knowledge of specimen handling and transportation procedures.
Compensation & Schedule
● 1099 Independent Contractor Position.

Route Schedule Notice
