Steradian Rentals is hiring a part-time delivery driver to help deliver, set up, pick up, and return event rental equipment throughout the Philadelphia area.
This is a flexible, part-time position. Work is scheduled around customer orders, so hours will vary by week. Drivers receive available delivery assignments and can accept assignments that fit their availability. Once an assignment is accepted, we depend on you to complete it reliably and on time.
What you'll do:
• Pick up rental equipment from our storage location
• Deliver tables, chairs, tents, and other event equipment to customers
• Help with setup and breakdown when required
• Pick equipment up after events and return it to storage
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries
• Take basic delivery/pickup photos and update order status
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Active personal auto insurance
• Your own pickup truck, cargo van, minivan, or large SUV with enough room to transport rental equipment
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
• Comfortable lifting and carrying tables, chairs, tents, and similar equipment
• Able to use a phone for delivery details, navigation, photos, and order updates
• Professional and dependable when interacting with customers
Pay: $25/hour
Employment: Part-time W-2 employee
Location: Philadelphia, PA and surrounding areas
Paid training is provided. For your first delivery, a member of our team will accompany you and walk you through the full process.
