Job Description

We are seeking reliable Owner Operators/Non-Employee 1099 Independent Contractors with their own Cargo Van/ Box Trucks to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Medical Totes from warehouses or distribution centers to designated locations. ***This is a Saturday only route that takes 8 hours to complete and starts with a Pickup from Elk Grove Village, IL and then delivered to multiple stops in Northwest, IN. ***Great for Owner Operators looking to add an extra day to their operation***. Also great for Owner Operators that are newer and building up their Contract Portfolios.

Responsibilities

Safely and timely deliver products to customers
Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
Follow routes and time schedules
Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles that is being operated
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

Skills

Experience in warehouse operations
Proficient in operating delivery vehicles such as vans, box trucks
Strong customer service skills
Commercial driving experience is a plus
Capability to perform heavy lifting Accounts of Scott Logistics Group LLC are required to do a Background Check and Drugtest before we can consider applicants for a Contract to work with our Accounts.
