Job Description
We are currently accepting applications for Delivery Driver positions! Last Mile Express is a third party Regional Service Provider to international logistics companies for final mile delivery needs. At Last Mile Express, we know our drivers are our most valuable asset and we use that knowledge to build a driver focused culture and experience.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- You decide start time (between 5am and 7:30am)
- End time depends on volume, start time, and your efficiency (typically 12pm to 3pm)
- Major holidays off, few federal holidays required
Compensation:
- $740 per week (WEEKLY PAY)
- Potential additional incentive pay upon 6 months completion ($2 - $12 per day additional)
- Paid training
- End of the year bonuses (eligibility required)
- Occasional meal allowance
- Occasional performance monetary or non-monetary based incentives
- Yearly pay rate increase (eligibility required)
- You will be considered a 1099 subcontractor, no standard benefits offered at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and carefully operate company vehicles
- Load packages for delivery
- Deliver packages in accordance with delivery instructions
- Deliver residential and business goods
- "Every package, every day" mentality
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Smart phone with unlimited data
- Ability to pass a 1 day driving course
- Reliable transportation to the warehouse
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to step-up into cargo vehicles frequently
- Ability to pass a drug test
