Kamex LLC is a last-mile delivery company operating across the North Atlanta metro area. We partner with major carriers to deliver packages efficiently and professionally. We're expanding our contractor network and looking for reliable, self-motivated drivers who take ownership of their routes and take pride in doing the job right.
Position Overview
As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll use your own cargo van to complete assigned delivery routes. We operate 7 days a week and offer full-time, part-time, and as-needed opportunities. Schedule and hours vary based on your assigned route, making this a strong fit for drivers who want flexibility without sacrificing consistent earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Pick up packages from our Marietta, GA location and deliver to residential and commercial addresses on assigned routes
- Load and organize packages for accurate, efficient route execution
- Use a smartphone and delivery app to scan packages, obtain signatures, and update delivery statuses in real time
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols throughout the route
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, exceptions, or customer concerns
- Handle package exceptions professionally (damaged, undeliverable, missing items)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation
- Manage your own fuel, vehicle maintenance, and mileage tracking
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Must own a cargo van (no box trucks)
- Proof of valid auto insurance meeting state and company minimums
- Must pass a background check and MVR; drug screening may be required
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, and delivery apps
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs., navigate stairs, and handle repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Prior delivery or courier experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- 7-day operation - Monday through Sunday
- Full-time, part-time, and as-needed availability all considered
