Independent Courier Contractor
We are seeking reliable, professional, and motivated Independent Courier Contractors to support our growing delivery operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying organized, and providing dependable service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Pick up, transport, and deliver packages within required timeframes
- Verify delivery addresses and follow delivery instructions
- Maintain accurate proof of delivery and shipment documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, route changes, or delivery issues
- Load and unload packages using proper handling procedures
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Follow all traffic laws and applicable safety requirements
Qualifications
- Previous courier, delivery, warehouse, or route-driving experience is preferred
- Reliable vehicle such as a car, SUV, minivan, cargo van, or truck
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Current vehicle registration
- Active auto insurance coverage on the vehicle being used for deliveries
- Must be able to provide valid proof of insurance upon request
- Vehicle must be safe, reliable, and properly maintained
- Strong time-management and navigation skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone for GPS, communication, and delivery updates
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to safely lift and handle packages as needed
Independent Contractor Opportunity
