Position: On-Call or Part-Time Driver

Location: Varies based on delivery routes

Responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver packages or materials to specified locations.
Load and unload items at designated pickup and drop-off points.
Use appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety boots, and a vest, when required by the delivery site.
Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning.
Safeguard all materials during transport.
Track and report mileage and deliveries accurately.
Handle your own vehicle maintenance and upkeep as this role requires the use of your personal vehicle.

Requirements:

A reliable personal vehicle (Sprinter Van, Cargo Van Pick Up Truck) capable of handling delivery loads.
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle for deliveries, accruing mileage.
Ability to work on-call or part-time hours based on demand.
Physical ability to load and unload materials. A helper with you is ok but not required
Availability to adhere to safety protocols and use required PPE at some sites.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Previous delivery or logistics experience is a plus.
Familiarity with using GPS and navigating efficiently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable working in varied environments and complying with site-specific safety requirements. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
