Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. You will be sorting out your work to load in your VAN or SUV, and must work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. You must have your (OWN) vehicle (VAN only) to do the delivery. We prefer people living in Staten Island (first choice), Brooklyn or Queens for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Pick up your packages from Queens and deliver in Staten Island. We prefer people living in Staten Island or Brooklyn for the position.
- Follow routes and time schedule.
- Sort, Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate your own personal delivery vehicle (VAN).
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
- Collect payments and return to company.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver (No experience also welcomed)
- Valid driver’s license
- Your own vehicle
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
